Get Perfect Armpits With These Homemade Remedies

Armpit hairs are the worst. While your arms and legs hair can be managed, armpit hair just looks gross. For any female beauty regime, underarm hair is the first to go away. While the market is filled with hair removal products, they contain chemicals that harm your skin in the long-term. Nobody wants that. These homemade products are gentler and amazingly effective in removing armpit hair. Try them out!

  1. Paste of milk and chickpea

Not only does this legume help in getting rid of armpit hair, but it also removes hair from arms, legs and face.

Ingredients:

½ cup of milk

½ cup of chickpea flour

1 tablespoon of turmeric

Make a paste of milk and flour and add turmeric in it. Mix it well and apply the mixture on your armpits. Let it sit for half an hour and then remove it gently. Use lukewarm water to rinse it off. Do the same thing twice a week and you won’t see any hair in your armpits.

2. Mixture of cornstarch and coconut oil

This natural deodorant will freshen up your armpits.

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons of coconut oil

1 cup of baking soda

1 tablespoon of corn starch

Combine coconut oil, cornstarch, and baking soda and cook them in medium heat. Cool it down and keep it in a transparent jar. Add lemon juice and let it sit for a whole day in a cool, dry place. Apply it carefully on your armpits. It’ll take away any smelly bacteria with it.

3. Lime, Honey and Sugar mix

Brown sugar acts as an exfoliant while lime acts as a bleaching agent.

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon of brown sugar

1 tablespoon of honey

1 teaspoon of lime juice

Baby powder

Water

Boil the mixture of sugar, honey, and lime juice and thicken it. If it gets too thick, add water. Cool it down. Sprinkle baby powder on your armpits and apply the paste. Make sure you go against the direction of hair growth. Cover it with a cloth and let it stay for 4-5 seconds before pulling it down. It’s a homemade epilator and is gentle on your skin.

4. Fresh Papaya

This is great for people with sensitive skin. Also, it contains papain, a substance which prevents growth of hair.
